Italian Open for green and eco-sustainability

Together for the “green” Italian Golf Federation and DS Automobiles, a French car brand, announce a three-year partnership also under the banner of eco-sustainability between respect for the territory and the environment, also through sport and therefore golf.

The deal was unveiled during a streaming press conference. In addition to being the main partner of the FIG, DS Automobiles will be title sponsor of the Italian Open, the 78th edition of which will be staged from 2 to 5 September at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Guidonia Montecelio (Rome) where, in 2023, the Ryder Cup will be the protagonist, for the first time in Italy.

In the press conference the FIG – present among the speakers Gian Paolo Montali, director of the Ryder Cup 2023 project – with the support of the Official Advisor Infront, also presented the Italian Pro Tour 2021, whose 15th season (which began with the National Open) will be characterized by 8 events throughout the boot.For an increasingly itinerant show that will also include, from 15 to 17 July, an event, the “Roma Alps Letas Open” which, at the Parco de ‘Medici Golf Club, in the Eternal City, will see not only men but also women as protagonists , with the tournament also included in the Alp Tour calendar (the third men’s European circuit) and LET Access (the second women’s continental circuit).
